VCA takes video analytics to next generation at Intersec 2016

VCA’s capability to be a one-stop shop for video analytics solutions will be demonstrated at Intersec 2016.

Among the wide range of analytics solutions on show on booth S1-G51 will be VCA Bridge, an appliance that instantly adds business intelligence capability to new or existing video surveillance systems. VCA Bridge is an ideal intrusion detection, perimeter protection, traffic monitoring and people counting analytics solution for end-users who wish to augment their existing IP or analogue cameras.

Cloud Based
In support of its recently introduced comprehensive range of VCA branded high definition IP network video devices that feature its highly acclaimed analytics technology, VCA will also be showcasing uCount.it, a cloud based counting and tracking reporting solution ideal for retailers and small / medium businesses.

uCount.it presents a browser based, easy to navigate Dashboard with real-time information in the form of customizable counting lines, heat maps, intuitive charts, downloadable reports and highlighted activity.

Visitors to the VCA stand will also be able to watch live demonstrations of a new generation ‘intelligent’ public view monitor (IPVM,) which is packed with a long list of impressive features, such as face detection, designed to offer tangible benefits and actionable intelligence to retail marketing executives, as well as loss prevention managers.

Total analytics solutions provider
“Intersec 2016 will provide a great opportunity to demonstrate how we have evolved into a total solutions provider for video analytics solutions,” said Kevin Waterhouse, Executive Vice President, Global Sales for VCA. “Products such as uCount.it, Bridge and IPVM, as well as our new range of IP network cameras, make it almost effortless for end-users to take full advantage of our highly accurate and effective edge-based analytics software.”
