Corps Security and AMG Systems join forces to offer high definition 360° surveillance

corps-AMGCorps Security has agreed a new alliance with AMG Systems to make the Corps Monitoring Centre (CMC) the first facility of its kind to remotely monitor the innovative PanoCam360 – offering complete situational awareness from a single camera

Faz Colbhie, AMG Systems’ Business Development Manager, explained, ‘PanoCam360 has no moving parts whatsoever, the 185° fisheye lens gives 360° horizontal and 180° vertical visibility at 12.5 frames per second, with no blind spots. Its ability to negate the use of multiple cameras means that it is highly cost effective and indoor and outdoor versions are available, the latter being IP66 rated with a vandal proof dome.’

PanoCam360 is part of AMG-Panogenics’ range of IP cameras.  It is a five megapixel 360° device with built-in de-warping functionality and 14 electronic pan tilt zoom (ePTZ) video streams, which can be viewed live or recorded. This allows up to eight different users to control the camera at once, without interference to other users.

Corps Security has embraced the massive opportunities that 360° IP camera technology offers due to its ability to capture the actions of an unlimited number of individuals or moving objects within its field of view – making it suitable for a diverse range of applications including sports stadia, warehouses, offices and hospitals.

‘Underpinning the ongoing development of the CMC is the utilisation of high end products that have undergone our rigorous internal assessment procedure,’ concluded Eric Roberts, Corps Security’s CMC business development director. ‘We know that AMG Systems provides high performance solutions that can be totally relied upon and the PanoCam360 is a unique product with a variety of very useful features – all of which are proving to be of significant interest to our customers.’
