Securi-Guard Fire and Security has renewed its long association with local rugby club Plymouth Albion, agreeing an enhanced package of security measures under a new contract.

The region’s largest independent supplier of fire and security services has traditionally supplied CCTV and intruder alarms, as well as manned security on match days to the club.

Under the new agreement, those services have been further extended to maintaining all fire alarms at the club.

Scott Boyd, Securi-Guard’s Managing Director (Operations), said the new agreement marked an association with the club dating back 15 years.

“Our association with Albion is one we are all very proud of and I am delighted that we have been able to further enhance the services we provide for them,” said Boyd.

“The new agreement means we are now bringing the club our full portfolio of services, from alarm monitoring and response to maintenance of all the systems at the club.”

Louise Uncles, Plymouth Albion’s Marketing Director, said: “Securi-Guard is very much a part of Plymouth Albion and has always delivered its services with the utmost professionalism and dedication. They have always been very supportive of the club too.”

Securi-Guard has always been proud of its association with sport in Plymouth.

As well as the contract with Albion, the company also handles all fire and security measures at local League Two football club Plymouth Argyle in a contract that has now been in place for four years.

“Like many towns and cities, sport is an integral part of Plymouth and we are very proud to be able to play a significant role in that,” added Boyd.
