Entatech unveils vShape as latest portfolio addition

Fujitsus vShape solution

Entatech UK have announced the addition of Fujitsu’s vShape solution to their portfolio. The vShape solution is designed to simply and easily integrate an organisation’s storage, server, network and virtualisation software into one.

With a simplified order process, a single part number and sales support, Fujitsu’s primary goal is to bring virtualisation to the smallest of SME’s right through to large enterprise customers. In short, vShape is server virtualisation straight-out-of-the box, delivering ROI not DIY for business IT managers.

Jon Atherton, Entagroup Vice President, commented: “Our products have always focused on providing a total solution for our customers and the addition of vShape to our portfolio completely fulfils this. Fujitsu vShape will not enable us to provide a flexible and scalable solution for our customers virtualisation needs, but its ready-to-use configurations mean simple and fast deployment and reduced total cost of ownership.”

Consisting of NetApp FAS storage, Brocade IP switches and leading VMware virtualisation technology, vShape runs on Fujitsu PRIMERGY servers which are designed and optimised for virtualisation. With this combination customers will be confident they’re being provided with a solution that has been developed with the high end infrastructure components that have been expertly tested and integrated into a whole packaged solution.

With the available solutions starting small at just 25 virtual servers – a unique, pre-integrated solution in the UK market – the solutions can be scaled up to 50, 100 and 200. This feature makes vShape the absolute ideal solution for smaller organisations, whilst also having the ability to facilitate customers with thousands of users.

Since launching their relationship with Fujitsu just over 12 months ago, Entatech have quickly established themselves as a leading distributor of Fujitsu products. The vShape solution joins Entatech’s growing portfolio that includes desktops, laptops and tablet devices – many of which will be promoted at Entatech’s upcoming EntaLive event, which will be held at Fujitsu’s Innovation Centre in Baker Street on 5th November.
