ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014 attracts major local and international companies

The organisers of the International Security, Safety and National Resilience exhibition and conference (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014), have announced that major specialised international companies will be taking part in the exhibition organised by the Ministry of the Interior in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with REED Exhibitions, from April 1-3, 2014.

Commenting on the subject, Major General Staff Dr. Obeid Al Kutbi, Deputy Commander-in-chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee stated that ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014 represents a platform that comprehensively covers issues of national security and safety under one roof. He also affirmed that the a number of prominent specialised leading local, regional and international companies have already confirmed their participation in the upcoming exhibition, namely; Tawazun company; International Golden Group; Emirates Advanced Investments (EAI); Advanced Integrated Systems (AIS); MP3 International; Motorola Solutions; Smith Detection; and Thales Group, leader in the field of advanced technology in the areas of defence, security, space and transport.

In its upcoming edition, ISNR Abu Dhabi will feature specialised dedicated pavilions for Homeland Security and National Resilience (HSNR by ISNR); Information Security (IS by ISNR); and Critical Infrastructure Security by ISNR (CIS by ISNR). It will also feature two collocated launch events: Fire & Emergency Middle East (FEM) and Occupational Safety and Health Middle East (OSH ME); in addition to the high level International Conference on Security Challenges, scheduled for March 31st, 2014.

“The security products market has been expanding significantly in recent years with the increased demand for niche products, and rapid technological developments that we are witnessing day after day. This makes it imperative for concerned entities to keep pace with the new advancements by reviewing the latest solutions around the world,” indicated Major General Al Kutbi.

He added: “We aspire to achieve a secure and stable environment, across the region and the world”. Moreover, he pointed out that major international companies in the security sector have shown great interest in the exhibition, which provides the opportunity to achieve partnership agreements and specialised deals in the field of security systems, with local or regional entities.

For his part, Frederic Theux, President of Reed Exhibitions Middle East, said: “The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region provides vital opportunities to companies specialised in the area of homeland security. The International Security, Safety and National Resilience exhibition and conference (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014) targets senior police and security officials. It also attracts a large number of experts and specialists in the field of international security and is considered as a global platform to showcase the state-of-the-art technologies in the fields of security and safety”.

The ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014 is expected to attract 400 exhibitors from more than 25 countries. It will play host to 15,000 senior security, safety and risk prevention professionals from across the Middle East, North Africa and the world, to explore the latest additions to the upcoming edition.

Notably, the International Security, Safety and National Resilience exhibition and conference (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014), is a prominent event on the calendar of global security and safety events in the Middle East and North Africa Region. It provides decision makers, from private and public sectors with the latest in security technology, critical infrastructure protection, emergency preparedness and response, and risk prevention.
