‘The Protection of Freedoms Bill – An Update’
Following the publication of the Protection of Freedoms Bill, there has been much speculation on how the CCTV industry will be regulated in the future. This FREE Seminar will bring together industry experts to discuss the impact of the Protection of Freedoms Bill and how it will affect the security industry. This event is aimed at end users of security from Local Authorities, Police Authorities, Crime Reduction Partnerships, Universities, Hospitals, Retail and other organisations. Additionally, the Seminar is complimented by a substantial exhibition of cutting edge security technology and service providers. (Manufacturers and security service providers are only able to attend this event as part of one of the Exhibition Packages available).
This event is being staged at the Marriott Gosforth Park Hotel in Newcastle between 09.00 and 16.30 on Tuesday 8th November 2011 with a complimentary buffet lunch. For members of the Security Instutute participating in the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme, a maximum of 8 CPD points are available for the seminar on a self-directed basis.
