Synectics Security rebrands under new leadership

Synectics Security, one of the largest security systems integrators operating in the UK and Ireland today, is rebranding to Ocular Integration (Ocular) under new leadership.

The rebrand reflects the company’s independence and visionary focus on delivering the latest technical solutions and innovations to customers in government, high-security, public space, heritage, transport, custodial services, utilities, and other critical infrastructure. It also sees the appointment of new Managing Director, Chris Jepson.

With a ‘hands-on’ background in security technology engineering, and over two decades’ industry experience – including 18 with the company, Chris is ready to lead Ocular into what he believes is an exciting new era for the business.

Chris comments: “The security market in the UK and Ireland is experiencing significant growth. It’s also changing at pace. The physical and cyber risks facing the sectors we serve are increasingly sophisticated – the solutions required to tackle them often must be too. At Ocular, we have both keen vision and ability to help customers navigate this changing landscape.

“We have a vast network of technology partners and decades of technical and project management experience. All of which means that whether an organisation needs the latest in AI-based analytics, the ability to leverage cloud-based surveillance for real time security oversight and incident management, or advice on updating and unifying existing technologies – from intrusion detection and access control to security barriers – we will always focus in on what matters to deliver solutions perfectly tailored to specific needs and budget.”

The company will continue to operate out of its Nottingham HQ, building on the highly experienced team and 45-year heritage established under the Quadrant Security Group and Synectics Security brands.

Chris added: “Ocular isn’t just a new name for us. It’s a rebrand that symbolises our unwavering dedication to a vigilant and forward-thinking approach to security. It epitomises our goal to deliver precise and reliable solutions that our customers can depend on completely. Now and well into the future.”

Ocular will be exhibiting at this year’s Euro Bus Expo from November 12-14 at Birmingham NEC, showcasing their new brand identity.
