Videcon HD-IP Lite range updated with P2P networking

The Concept Pro entry-level IP NVR range by Videcon, the HD-IP Lite, now offers P2P networking, making it easy for installers to configure mobile viewing of the CCTV system on mobiles and tablets.

Using a secured European-based server, installers simply activate mobile viewing by scanning the QR code on the unit into the smartphone app, connecting through the server straight to the NVR.

Ian Farr, Technical Director of Videcon Ltd said:

“In recent years, mobile viewing has been one of the top features asked for by end users when selecting a CCTV system. We believe this announcement of P2P on Concept Pro units will be of major benefit to our customers by reducing the amount of time needed on-site to configure a system on a network for playback on smartphones and tablets.”

Users also have the ability to view a HD-IP Lite system over a web browser courtesy of an in-built webserver, a feature normally found on more high-end recording solutions, providing real-time monitoring and play back.

The HD-IP Lite range offers full support for real-time 1080p video with 4, 8, 16 and 32 channel variants available with a maximum storage size of 24TB, comes with Concept Pro’s 3 year warranty and work with Videcon’s extensive range of IP cameras.
