The final programme for this year’s LONE WORKER SAFETY Conference, taking place on 26 November at London’s Olympia Conference Centre, has been announced.
“Our aim was to invite some of the UK’s most respected professionals in this sector. The objective was to offer our visitors and delegates the most informative programme in order to effectively help protect their workforce”, says Robert Kaiser, CEO of PPSS Group and Organiser of this annual event.
Chris Allcard, head of lone worker services of headline sponsor Reliance Protect, will offer his insight knowledge from the perspective of the NHS, explaining the common challenges with selecting, implementing and managing technology based lone worker solutions.
Nicole Vazquez will be part this event once again, however this time around Nicole will discuss how to best develop and embed effective but simple policies and procedures for lone workers.
Bill Fox, chairman of Maybo, will be delivering a presentation on good quality, efficient and effective conflict management. Maybo is the UK’s undisputed leader in conflict management training.
Rachel Griffin is the chief executive of the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, the best known personal safety charity. She will help everyone attending to identify the real risks of lone working and highlight how this great charity can be of help.
Other rather interesting new subjects will be covered as well, which have not been mentioned in the past, such as the ‘appropriate response to physical confrontation’ and the latest technology in the form of body worn video solutions, designed to record events and gather crucial evidence of abuse or aggression.
LONE WORKER SAFETY 2013 will be structured around lone worker safety and focus on health & safety professionals, lone workers themselves, managers, team leaders and senior members of staff who work within organisations where lone working takes place.
