2nd Generation X Series

Hanwha Vision introduces the 2nd Generation X Series Stainless Steel AI Cameras powered by Wisenet 9 AI-native System on Chip (SoC) and engineered with reinforced stainless-steel housing. They are designed for deployments where durability is as critical as intelligence, delivering advanced AI performance, image clarity, and operational efficiency.

The new cameras, the XNV-A8084RS and XNV-A9084RS, extend the capabilities of the 2nd Generation X Series into locations where environmental exposure, corrosion, and physical impact are constant challenges. By integrating stainless steel construction without compromising AI performance, Hanwha Vision enables reliable surveillance in industrial facilities, the food industry, transportation infrastructure, and coastal or environmentally demanding installations.

Seamless Performance with Dual NPU and AI

At the core of these cameras is the Wisenet 9 SoC. Wisenet 9 SoC leverages a dual NPU architecture, ensuring that video processing and AI analytics each have dedicated resources. By preventing these functions from competing for processing power, the system maintains consistently high image quality, even when performing intensive object detection and analytics.

This advanced platform improves object detection, attribute extraction, and image processing while providing greater control over AI functions. Processing intelligence directly within the camera reduces latency, optimizes bandwidth usage, and delivers actionable metadata in real time.

Durability and Reliability

These cameras’ durability is validated through extensive environmental and durability testing. Multiple ingress protection certifications confirm resistance to dust, water immersion, and high-pressure washdowns, enabling reliable operation in moisture-heavy and industrial environments. The stainless-steel models feature a nylon dome, which resists yellowing from sun exposure and harsh chemicals, making it especially suitable for washdowns and marine or chemically demanding environments. Additional compliance with impact, vibration, thermal cycling, and high-humidity standards ensures long-term stability in locations exposed to mechanical stress, temperature extremes, and corrosive conditions. Together, these certifications reinforce the suitability of stainless-steel models for demanding outdoor, infrastructure, and industrial deployments where durability and environmental resilience are critical.

Eco Mode: Smarter Energy, Stronger Performance

Hanwha Vision’s Eco Mode, powered by WisePower ECO and WiseStream technologies, is designed to significantly reduce energy consumption while maintaining uncompromised security performance. Hanwha Vision’s WisePower technology dynamically adjusts power usage based on IR illumination requirements, optimising energy consumption while maintaining clear visibility in low-light and complete darkness. WiseStream, Hanwha Vision’s bandwidth reduction technology, leverages AI-based object detection to apply higher compression to non-AI objects and background areas, while preserving maximum image quality for relevant objects such as people and vehicles. This intelligent, selective compression significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements without impacting evidential detail where it matters most.

Certified Data Security and Integrity

Cybersecurity remains a foundational element of these cameras, incorporating Secure Boot, Secure OS, and encrypted firmware to prevent unauthorized software execution. Credentials and captured video are protected through encryption, while the integrated secure element meets FIPS 140-3 Level 3 requirements, delivering enterprise-grade protection for critical surveillance infrastructure.

To further strengthen transparency and cyber resilience, Hanwha Vision also provides a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM), offering full visibility into the software components within our devices. This enables customers to proactively manage vulnerabilities, support compliance requirements, and maintain greater control over their cybersecurity posture.

In addition, we have achieved ISO/IEC 42001 certification — the world’s first international standard for a certifiable Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS). This demonstrates that Hanwha Vision’s AI technologies are governed by a human-centric framework, ensuring accountability, risk management, and responsible innovation at every stage of development.

By combining advanced AI analytics, exceptional image quality, and stainless-steel durability, the 2nd Generation X Series Stainless Steel AI Cameras deliver intelligent video surveillance in environments where resilience is non-negotiable. With this launch, the 2nd Generation X Series Camera lineup continues to expand, delivering smarter detection, clearer images, and long-term operational confidence.
