The 2025 International Security Buyer Awards once again set the stage for recognising the people shaping the future of global security.
Hosted in alignment with Security Buyer’s mission to spotlight emerging excellence – alongside its Security Buyer International Live event programme – the Judges’ Rising Star category celebrated those at the beginning of remarkable careers, already demonstrating impact far beyond their years.
This year’s shortlist reflected the breadth of talent rising through the industry. Gabriel Coveney of SecureOne, Saacid Sheikh of CIS Security Ltd and Victoria Lovberg of Gunnebo Safe Storage were all finalists. But after a competitive assessment, the title of Rising Star 2025 was awarded to Victoria Lovberg, whose work and trajectory stood out as a clear signal of future influence.
Her win exemplifies what the category was designed to celebrate—innovation, potential and the promise of long-term contribution within the security landscape.
Category winners were announced during the live virtual awards ceremony on 19 November 2026 – an event defined by accessibility and participation, with free nominations encouraging a broad field of voices.
