MWR to discuss static analysis for code and infrastructure this October at DevSecCon

MWR InfoSecurity, an independent cyber security consultancy delivering research-led cyber security for clients around the globe, has confirmed details of its DevSecCon involvement this 20 October– a session titled Static Analysis for Code and Infrastructure, a cunning challenge plus sponsoring the post-event drinks. Now in its second year, DevSecCon is a one day event, with seminars, workshops and open sessions, aiming to initiate a culture change in IT to deliver integrated, continuously secure solutions to the business.
Nick Jones – Security Consultant at  MWR explained: “While many will have seen or used static analysis tools in the past, they are often poorly understood. I’m planning to make it all a bit clearer by covering the theory behind a number of the techniques commonly used to analyse applications, including taint checking and analysis of control flow graphs and field initialisations.”
DevSecCon brings together key figures from both the DevOps and SecOps world to showcase how these two core competencies can align to improve the overall quality of software and project delivery. The conference aims to share those insights and experiences to help attendees challenge the status quo in their organisations and radically rethink their approach to secure development and delivery.
