DoorBird’s A1104T IP Video Indoor Station brings video door communication, access control and building integration into a single indoor interface for residential, commercial and public buildings. Introduced in 2026 as part of DoorBird’s expanded indoor station portfolio, the system combines door and elevator control with HD video, two-way audio, visitor management and wider smart building functions.
Designed around a 7-inch True IPS touch display, the A1104T provides a 1024 x 600 pixel interface behind scratch-resistant tempered glass. Users can see and speak with visitors before releasing a door or gate, while a configurable RGB LED status bar provides visual information on incoming visitors and missed calls. The unit also includes an integrated hearing loop, extending accessibility for users with compatible hearing aids.
Connected access and building control
The A1104T supports LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity, with Power over Ethernet available for simplified installation. DoorBird’s platform allows the station to be configured through the DoorBird app and a web-based dashboard, while SIP compatibility supports communication with concierges, reception teams and facility managers.
Its access functionality extends beyond basic door release. Two configurable bistable relays can be used for electric door openers or elevator control, while digital inputs support additional building functions. The indoor station can also connect with smart locks, DoorBird IP video products and wider home or building automation systems using interfaces including IP, TCP, HTTPS and relays.
For multi-unit properties, room-to-room communication enables users to contact other indoor stations. Free cloud recording provides a visitor history, giving authorised users a record of activity rather than limiting the system to real-time door communication.
Designed for modern interiors
DoorBird has positioned the A1104T as a security product intended to sit visibly within high-specification interiors rather than being treated purely as a functional wall device. The A1104 family was also recognised with a German Design Award, reflecting the emphasis placed on integrating security technology with architectural design.
Its black housing can be paired with stainless steel and coated metal finishes, including brushed stainless steel, bronze, gold, chrome, brass and graphite black. The station measures 146 x 185 x 26.04 mm and weighs approximately 580 g, supporting surface mounting or an optional table stand. It also provides two-way HD audio with echo and noise cancellation, more than 50 doorbell sounds and operating support between 0°C and 55°C.
By combining controlled entry, visitor communication, accessibility features and building-system integration in one interface, the A1104T demonstrates how an indoor station can form part of a broader IP-based access environment rather than operating as a standalone intercom endpoint.
