SSAIB has gained UKAS accreditation for two increasingly important standards affecting companies operating in the security sector. The UK’s leading certification body is now accredited for OHSAS 18001, the British Standard for occupational health and safety management systems, as well as ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems.
The Fire Safety Company, based in Richmond, North Yorkshire, has become the first organisation to attain four BAFE scheme registrations. They used NSI as their UKAS accredited certification body.
The Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) has announced it is now able to carry out testing to the EN 1627 regulation after achieving UKAS accreditation.
