UTC Climate, Controls & Security claims 2013 will be its ‘biggest IFSEC for years’ with a number of technical innovation launches across intruder, CCTV, integration and fire.

The new products will include a combined camera-PIR unit with superior features that will make visual verification intruder systems much easier to design and install.

For critical risk applications such as data-centres and storage facilities, a new line of advanced aspirated air detection devices will provide the earliest possible warning of potential fires.

A complete suite of perimeter detection products is also being showcased, ranging from acoustic cable technology to active IR beam devices.

In the CCTV arena an upgraded video management system is being released, further enhancing the capability of the TruVision recorder range.

And a powerful software video recording system will provide new functionality that goes considerably further than current  market alternatives.

Finally, a particularly important launch in the fire market will be a new end-to-end wireless solution which is being introduced to UTC’s best-selling Ziton range.

“With its global leadership in key areas of security and fire technology UTC has been investing strongly in the tools and technology available to system installers,” says Kevin Swann, UTC’s UK Country Manager. “We’re very excited about the technical innovations that we are bringing to market and unveiling at IFSEC this year.”

Full details of all the IFSEC launches will also be released soon on UTC’s website. UTC will be present on stand C90 Hall 4.
