Axis Security gets hat-trick of nominations for Security Excellence Awards

PrintAxis Security, a leading provider of bespoke security services, has been selected as a finalist in three categories at the prestigious Security Excellence Awards 2013, including ‘Security Guarding Company of the Year’.

The company, whose success has seen its turnover rise from £2.4 million to £47 million in five years has also been shortlisted for ACS Champion of the Year in recognition of its commitment to raising standards and promoting best practice.

Its third nomination is for an individual – John Sephton, Axis Security’s Security Manager at Woking Shopping – for his work in safeguarding the local community and consistently going ‘above and beyond’ the call of duty. He is a finalist within the ‘Contract Security Manager of the Year’ category.

Axis Security has a strong track record in previous Security Excellence Awards, having been named ‘Security Guarding Company of the Year’ two years ago and having also been finalists in 2010 and 2012

Jonathan Levine, Axis Group CEO, said that being shortlisted in three categories demonstrates the breadth and depth of the company’s success.

“ACS remains especially important to us,” he added. “and so we endeavor to promote it at every opportunity. We know that by improving our score we improve the service to our customers and even where we score highly we still strive to make improvements.”
