Axis Security renews contract with Avoca Estate Management

Echo Buildings_LR (2)Avoca Estate Management Ltd, the specialist residential property management company, has re-appointed Axis Security to deliver a range of security and concierge services at some 50 of its sites in the north of the country.

Axis Security, which is a leading provider of manned guarding and electronic security solutions, will be providing a comprehensive suite of services from key holding to CCTV monitoring, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.

Avoca Estate Management Ltd first approached Axis Security to provide an out-of-hours service for residents of the buildings three years ago, a service that allows tenants to phone the Axis Security control room direct if there are any issues such as antisocial behaviour, getting locked out of their building or a broken window or flood. The contract has since been renewed on an annual basis as Sarah Dudgeon, Director of Avoca Estate Management Ltd, explains: “Axis has consistently provided us with a very flexible service where nothing is too much of a problem.

“The out-of-hours service is an important point of contact for our residents and we have had nothing but positive feedback.”

Managing apartment blocks, including all common areas such as hallways and lifts, requires detailed knowledge of all requisite legislation and administrative procedures. Effective management is also critical to the preservation of the value of a property portfolio.

Jonathan Levine, Axis Group CEO, says he is pleased to be providing such an important service for Avoca Estate Management Ltd and its residents. “Emergencies can come at any time of day or night and having the right people on site, with the appropriate levels of training, is crucial to delivering a best-in-class service,” he says.

Avoca Estate Management ’s Ltd buildings and developments range from three to 204 apartments, covering areas from Newcastle to Sheffield and Preston to Carlisle.
