Nominated in the category of ‘Technological Development’ in the PSI Premier Awards and ‘Network and Connectivity Innovation’ in the Benchmark Innovation Awards, two barox products have made it through to the finals, with this amazing ‘double’ recognition underlining barox’s position as a leading security industry player.
Nominated by, and voted for, by the readers of Professional Security Installer (PSI) magazine, the PSI Premier Awards feature the best electronic security products the security industry has to offer. Features, benefits, ease of installation and best service are all taken into consideration by the experts at PSI before a product is nominated as a finalist in each award category.
PSI selected the barox-Geutebrück VMS integration plug-in for barox’s capability to integrate to the industry’s best players, via their advanced DMS network monitoring tool, which is unique in the CCTV market. By enabling easy integration to the barox Ethernet switch range, barox’s new Geutebrück plug-in reinforces the company’s ethos of offering network solutions that are tailored to meet the needs of the modern video security market.
The Benchmark Innovation awards reward organisations that are leading the way in the security sector by addressing specific challenges in a dynamic and evolving landscape. Voted for by the readers of Benchmark Magazine, they represent the best technology in the security industry.
The first of several new 10G options due to be released throughout this year, Benchmark selected the barox RY-LGSO38-10 10Gb SFP Light Core Ethernet switch for its strong mix of features, including 10 x 10Gb port capability with a substantial 200Gb backplane, excellent security features, dynamic routing, and DMS with Active Camera Monitoring, PoE monitoring, Active PoE Power-up Management and Non-Stop PoE.
