Changing the game at Intersec 2016 with HD Radar Solutions

Award winning radar specialist, launches High Definition Radar Security Solutions, to better protect valuable assets.

Navtech Radar, the leading supplier of radar based security solutions, announced it has launched an all new suite of high definition radar sensors for its AdvanceGuard® security solution that incorporate Accutrack technology. The company, which prides itself on innovation, has improved performance, and lowered costs, that will enable integrators to deliver solutions which improve safety, security and efficiency.

Phil Avery, MD of Navtech Radar says:

“In the same way as computers get faster and cheaper, the new AdvanceGuard HDR sensors offer a step change in performance while reducing the total cost of ownership. The design team have already been recognised with two British Engineering Excellence Awards, and I’m thrilled we can now unveil these new products to our customers.”

Accutrack technology combines a fast update rate, high definition data and sophisticated processing algorithms, to deliver the most accurate tracking in the industry. With AdvanceGuard’s distributed architecture, the new HDR sensors can be positioned to not only deliver 100% coverage of a site, but also coverage beyond the perimeter fence. Installation is not reliant on existing infrastructure, as the system is able to utilise wireless communication and renewable energy, such as solar panels to run the low power devices.

“With the new HDR sensors, the AdvanceGuard security solution is a generation ahead of available alternatives” explains Avery “Whether the application is an airport, industrial complex or critical national infrastructure, no other radar manufacture can get close to these capabilities at this price”

Navtech Radar is the world leader in the design and manufacture of high definition, cost-effective security and safety systems, which combine the company’s patented radar technology with sophisticated analytical software. Navtech offers an impressive application portfolio which includes wide-area security surveillance, surface movement, traffic management and incident detection as well as industrial automation, branded respectively as AdvanceGuard®, ClearWay™ and SafeGuard™.
