Coltraco enjoyed exhibiting at Intersec 2016 in Dubai
Coltraco Ultrasonics, leading British OEM ultrasonic safety instrumentation, enjoyed exhibiting at Intersec again. 153 companies came to the stand to understand more about its range of portable UL-approved Portalevel™ MAX products and its fixed monitoring systems, Permalevel™ Multiplex and Permalevel™ Single Point which was recently installed at a GE aircraft engine fan blade manufacturing centre. Over the last 25 years we have developed good relationships in the region.

“Intersec 2016 provided a great opportunity to exhibit and to meet with our Customers, Partners and Distributors across the Middle East and Asia. Given our UL-approval we are strongly placed to be the partner of choice to monitor FM-200®, HFC-227, NOVEC™1230 & HFC-225 systems in the region, particularly those in complex installations such as High Rise Tower Buildings, Electricity Sub-Stations, Telecommunications and Transport systems. Intersec 2016 also provided our launch opportunity in the Middle East for our new bearing indicator, Portamonitor™.
In addition to the Fire Safety side, we are pleased on the Marine side we have partnered with Middle East Fuji as our Middle East Marine Partner for Portascanner™ Watertight, Portamarine™, Portalevel™ MAX Marine, Portamonitor™ & Permascanner™ Watertight Dynamic. While we were in Dubai, George Hunter and our CEO spent time with Captain Peter Machado, COO Middle East Fuji, visiting Shipping & Ship Management customers in Dubai. George says: “It is our great honour to work with Captain Machado and his fine team, including Ms Melanie and Mr Jibu at Middle East Fuji”.
Captain Machado is an industry veteran and Master Mariner and was also one of our first Fleet users of Portascanner™ Watertight when he was with Kuwait Livestock and Trading. He says,
