Doorbird expands its portfolio with an innovative IP door communication product that provides greater comfort, security and design for modern buildings
DoorBird, the Berlin based specialist for IP door communication, is expanding its product portfolio with two new high performance IP video indoor stations. With the introduction of the A1103 and A1104 models, first presented at Light + Building in Frankfurt in early March, DoorBird once again sets new standards in user comfort, design quality and technical performance. Following several product innovations announced in January, the new indoor stations represent a consistent and strategic extension of DoorBird’s innovation roadmap.
Both models feature a 7-inch true color touch display made of scratch resistant tempered glass and deliver razor sharp HD video along with crystal-clear two-way audio. Whether used in residential buildings, commercial environments or public facilities, the new indoor stations enable reliable and intuitive communication with visitors. A configurable RGB LED status bar provides instant visual feedback on incoming calls and missed visitors. With multiple mounting options available, the devices can be seamlessly integrated into a wide range of interior and architectural concepts.
The A1103 model is available in black, white, and white with a black frame and is designed for users who value clarity and functional operation. An integrated touch bar allows direct access to key functions such as talking, door release, favorites and mute. The A1104T indoor station, by contrast, is aimed at design-oriented users. Its black housing, complemented by elegant accents in brushed or coated stainless steel, gives the device a refined architectural character. Both models have already been honored with the German Design Award, underlining DoorBird’s ambition to bring technology and design together in a harmonious and purposeful way.
In addition to their refined appearance, the new indoor stations offer a wide range of intelligent features. These include door and elevator control, a visitor history with free cloud recording, room to room communication when multiple indoor stations are installed, and SIP support for calls from concierges or facility managers. The feature set is further expanded by weather information display, the control of home and building automation systems via IP, TCP, HTTPS or relay interfaces, as well as global configuration through the DoorBird app and web-based dashboard. The devices are also fully compatible with smart locks and the DoorBird IP Video Mini Dome camera.
