FIA appoint new CEO

The FIA is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Moore as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from 01 September 2015.
Martin Harvey, Chairman of the FIA, comments:

‘I am very pleased to announce Ian as the new CEO of the FIA. I believe Ian’s knowledge and over 25 years of experience in fire industry will make a significant contribution to the FIA.
‘Ian is looking forward to working with FIA members and supporting the FIA team’

The FIA is a not-for-profit trade association promoting professional standards in the UK fire safety industry.

The Association was formed in April 2007 out of a merger between two longstanding and well-respected trade associations, FETA (Fire Extinguishing Trade Association) and BFPSA (British Fire Protection Systems Association). The FIA is ‘owned’ by its members, which means that they are answerable to and representative of their members.
