Iain Cumner has been appointed as Sector Lead for Finance and Commercial at Quadrant Security Group (QSG), part of Synectics plc.
With 25 years’ experience in the security industry, Iain began his career as an engineer before moving into a commercial role in 1999; most recently holding positions at Direct Security Integration and Frontline Security.
Speaking about his new role, Iain said: “QSG has a strong reputation of delivering sophisticated security systems for large-scale projects – and I’ve joined the company at a time when we’re seeing huge opportunities to grow our financial and commercial sector portfolio.”
QGS provides security system design, installation, maintenance and support for some of the country’s largest commercial and financial organisations.
Iain continues: “The sector demands advanced security technology and we’re well positioned to deliver a bespoke end-to-end service; underpinned by technical expertise and market insight.”
Last year, QSG revealed some of the key security trends for city and finance businesses, with focus group research at its Security Technology Experience indicating integrated IP CCTV, intelligent video analytics and video surveillance biometrics as some of the technologies companies were planning to invest in.
