The Essen Security exhibition in September is to showcase Grundig’s significantly expanded IP, analogue and HD-SDI video-surveillance product ranges, alongside 22” and 24”, 16:9 ratio, backlight LED monitors. All of the products on display are on general release in the UK.
2MP, Full HD video with quad video streaming is standard across all the new IP cameras. The complete range includes box cameras, an outdoor bullet camera, vandal-resistant outdoor fixed domes and a flat dome. IR LED versions of the bullet camera and fixed domes are also available. A 3MP Box camera and a 360° viewing 5MP fixed dome complete the IP camera range. Grundig’s iPhone app, the GCI Viewer, enables live viewing of cameras, fixed and PTZ camera control and audio listening and is available for download from iTunes.
The eagerly anticipated, 4, 8 and 16 channel NVR, previewed at IFSEC in May, will be on general release in quarter four, 2012. Full HD, real-time recording, auto-configuration of Grundig cameras, built-in PoE switching for direct camera connection, easy HDD upgrading and SATA and eSATA compatibility clearly demonstrate Grundig’s focus on high-quality video and intuitive installation.
The HD-SDI camera range includes a box camera, outdoor bullet, fixed dome and vandal-resistant fixed dome, again with IR LED options and true day/night functionality.
The analogue range is expanded with two new box cameras, each with a low voltage or mains version. The software day/night version is 650TVL, with adaptive tone-curve reproduction (ATR), DNR and privacy zone masking. The true day/night version adds 700TVL, WDR, DIS, highlight conversion and remote control to the feature set.
The two new LED backlight monitors, at 22” and 24”, have a 16:9 ratio, making them compatible with IP, HD-SDI and analogue camera formats. The backlight LED functionality doubles screen life, compared to normal (CCFL) flat screens, whilst offering a 35% reduction in energy consumption.
