Handhold Summer School – Free registration!

Postgraduate students and researchers within the fields of sensor technology, ICT and networking are being invited to the Handhold Summer School. The Handhold consortium, coordinated by Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) will run the summer school at the Holiday Inn, Toulouse, France from Monday 27th – Friday 31st July 2015 with keynote presentations, poster session, visit to Airbus and optional social events.

A hosted dinner at the summer school venue and the opportunity to spend the weekend before and/or after the event makes Toulouse an ideal place to meet and network with other researchers in the field. Leading academics, researchers, engineers and postgraduate students will gather at the event to discuss CBRNE detection.

The Handhold consortium, drawing on the world leading research and development in sensors, electronics and software conducted by its partners and influenced by the operational expertise of the Irish Customs Authority and the Portuguese Judiciary Police, is developing a network based, low power reconfigurable CBRNE sensor platform for operational field deployment.
