IFSEC Southeast Asia to be the biggest security event in the region

IFSEC-SE-ASIAMore than 250 exhibitors from 23 countries will showcase the newest ideas and cutting-edge equipment at IFSEC Southeast Asia from 11–13 September 2013 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

IFSEC Southeast Asia will combine the leading regional shows ISF and FIREC, following a ten year legacy, and attract more than 6,500 delegates. Visitors will attend from across the region where security managers, distributors, retailers, government agencies plus many more sectors, will be able to congregate at a focal industry event.  Acting as a place to source state-of-the-art technological advances in security, the whole buying chain will come together to interact with one another and experience the vast networking opportunities available.

Strongly supported by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Royal Malaysia Police and the British Security Industry Association (BSIA), the Minister of Home Affairs Malaysia, Y.B Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi, said: “I am really pleased that Malaysia has been chosen to host IFSEC Southeast Asia 2013 which will prove to be an invaluable platform for all industry players, enabling them to upgrade their technology by exchanging ideas and experiences. The event also features demonstrations of the latest technical innovations and advances which will enhance security and safety throughout Malaysia.”

Alongside the exhibition, visitors will be able to share experiences at the co-located seminar series, ‘Ensuring a Higher Degree of Security’, where influential industry speakers and thought leaders will take to the stage. Speakers include: Michael Parry, International Sales Manager, REMSDAQ, Nafis Jasmani, Country Manager, ASEAN, Axis Communications Video Sdn Bhd, as well as, many more leading voices.
