One of the key pavilions will be Dubai SME who are building on the partnership with event organisers, Epoc Messe Frankfurt, after a successful first outing at Intersec in 2014. It will give UAE start-ups an opportunity to shine on a global stage at the world’s most international safety and security exhibition.

Techtextil Pavilion
For the second time the Techtextil Middle East Symposium and the associated Techtextil Pavilion will be held concurrently with Intersec. The Techtextil product groups represent the entire spectrum of technical textiles and nonwovens.

Conferences
As always, Intersec is hosting a varied conference series that covers fire safety, information security, commercial security, occupational safety, Safety Design in Buildings and a Techtextil Middle East symposium

Fire safety
This conference will focus on fire detection, suppression and mitigation as well as highlight human behaviour in fire situations. Safety standards and fire safety codes will be discussed as well as fire prevention and protection. Fire risk assessment and fire systems design will also be addressed to assist professionals in evaluating their fire safety and property protection goals.

Information security
For the first time at Intersec, there will be a full day conference aimed at providing a platform to discuss critical infrastructure protection and response to urgent cyber security challenges from electronic fraud to sabotage, malware to data manipulation, and theft of valuable intellectual property.

Commercial security
Many businesses struggle to absorb the effects of corporate security challenges and are often forced to utilise increasingly more complex commercial security measures to combat theft, fraud, vandalism and assault. With a growing number of corporate security solutions that are not only more effective, they can also save businesses money.

Techtextil Middle East symposium
The symposium will offer safety engineers, safety officers and buyers solutions and developments in personal and property protection. It will feature speakers from a wide range of international companies active in the production and application of advanced and high-performance textiles, and will pay specific attention to application areas and issues relevant to the Middle Eastern market, such as the difficulties faced by users operating in hot, arid climates.

Occupational safety
This one-day conference will provide the knowledge on how to systematically improve health and safety to ensure a sound and healthy working environment for employees.

Safety Design in Buildings
The Safety Design in Buildings conference is a regular GCC-wide debating platform for best practice dialogues between safety professionals of the construction industry and authorities. The conference addresses fire safety and evacuation strategies, material as well as safety system requirements for high occupancy buildings.
