Kaba wins IF Design Award
Kaba wins IF Design Award

With an extensive product portfolio comprising mechanical, mechatronic and online locking systems, Kaba develops bespoke security products while utilising new smart card technologies to provide seamless access control solutions for any business.

The new Kaba corporate product design received three of the coveted IF Product Design Awards.
Kaba sets value in quality, functionality and design in the development of its products. The new products in their timeless-clear design received great recognition at the first presentation in Autumn 2010 and have now been distinguished with 3 international IF Product Design Awards with the Kaba Digital Cylinder taking Gold.

Timeless and Distinct: Kaba Reader Family
Grand scale high technology is concealed behind the prize winning design that features a wide range of applications and new security concepts. The readers are an important part of Kaba online and stand-alone access systems and fit discretely into most surroundings. An important aspect is also the user-friendly interface: The user is intuitively guided through the building by optical and acoustic signals.

First Class Design:  Kaba Digital Cylinder
The newly designed Kaba digital cylinder is characterised by a new look, innovative feel, and visual and acoustic access signals. Like the Kaba readers, the most modern RFID technologies and security concepts are utilised. The electronics, although powerful are very energy efficient and the modular design ensures easy installation: An existing mechanical cylinder can be replaced in only a few minutes with a Kaba digital cylinder.

Almost too attractive stay in your pocket: Kaba KeyFob
The Kaba KeyFob is a central element in Kaba TouchGo systems: Doors are opened simply by touch without using a key. This is made possible by RCID technology developed by Kaba, which uses the natural electrostatic resistance in the human body. The user carries the KeyFob in their clothing, handbag or backpack. Simply touching the lever handle is enough to verify access privileges and open the door. TouchGo offers great convenience and security.

About the IF Design Award
