Kings Conquerors take on Tough Mudder

Fifty nine staff from Kings Security are taking on the Skipton Tough Mudder on 6th August 2016 to raise much needed funds for the company’s nominated charity, Martin House Children’s Hospice.

Kings has supported the hospice for more than four years and last year raised an impressive £6,500, when a 23 strong team undertook a gruelling 127 mile bike ride along the path of the Liverpool to Leeds canal.

But, this year the Kings Conquerors are taking on their toughest challenge yet when 59 staff take on Tough Mudder in an attempt to raise over £11,000 for their chosen charity.

The team will be led by Kings Security CEO, Anthony King, who is already training hard for the event. He said:

“Tough Mudder epitomises everything we stand for at Kings Security. It’s not just about running speed and fitness; the key to completing this event is to use team work to overcome challenging obstacles and help each other throughout the course, so I’m sure the Kings Conquerors will do well because team work is at the heart of everything we do at Kings.”

Kings Security is supporting the staff taking part in the event by covering all the entry costs with all team members committing to raise at least £200 each to achieve the charity total.

Anthony added:

“We’re all looking forward to taking on the Tough Mudder challenge, and to raising as much money as we can for a fantastic charity that really makes a huge difference to families, by providing vital care and support during some of the most challenging times in their lives.”
