Teleste Video Surveillance summit

Teleste and its five technology partners have issued a detailed agenda for their Video Surveillance Summit which will be held at The Address in Dubai on 7 December 2014.

Following a welcome by Luis Coello and Soren Kannov of Teleste, the Finnish Ambassador to Abu Dhabi, Ilkka-Pekka Similä, will deliver the opening address.

This will be followed by the Keynote Address which will be delivered by H.E Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Al-Hamed, President and CEO of Al Hamed Enterprises (Group of Companies), Abu Dhabi, UAE.
H.E Sheikh Khalid’s keynote address is entitled, ‘The importance of electronic security in the modern city’.

The rest of the day will comprise of a series of presentations by Teleste and its technology partners, with breaks for coffee, lunch and networking. In addition to hearing about Teleste’s robust, scalable and interoperable video surveillance solutions, guests will hear from:

  • Arecont Vision – the future of low-light video surveillance and megapixel IP network cameras
  • ArrowLabs – innovative and flexible solutions for ANPR and ticketing
  • CNL – award-winning IPSecurityCenterTM PSIM technology for complete integrated situation management
  • Ipsotek – intelligent and proven video analytics
  • Wavesight – powerful wireless transmission solutions for urban area surveillance

The six companies will each have sample systems set up to demonstrate their capabilities, against the backdrop of floor to ceiling windows which will give you a fantastic view of the Burj Khalifa and the grand 150m-high Dubai Fountain.

Soren Kannov told SecurityMiddleEast.com that there are beneficial opportunities for integrators who work with Teleste and its partners.

“We are one of the few companies in the world that can do really large-scale video surveillance systems, up to 10 or 20,000 cameras,” he said. “Through our technology and our partners’, we can answer the requirements of even the most demanding customers.”

Teleste is investing more resources into the Middle East, he added: “We are strengthening our focus on the Middle East market and working with partners, integrators and customers to deliver large-scale video surveillance systems.”
