Look back at Intersec 2014 and see why you must attend 2015

Intersec 2014 was a great success, seeing a 22% increase in exhibitors and over 24,760 visitors. Organisers Messe Frankfurt reported that this year’s event was the biggest and most successful yet and, as official videographer for Intersec, SecurityNewsDesk’s TV crew were on hand to capture it all.

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Intersec 2014 attracted a cross section of companies and individuals from across the global security industry, and anyone who is anyone was there.

Intersec 2015 is expected to grow again by 20 per cent year-on-year, as all major players in the industry confirm their participation some six months before the show opens its doors for the 17th time in January 2015. Leading the way is the Security section, where market leaders such as Bosch, Hikvision, Assa Abloy, Axis, Flir, Samsung-Techwin, Dahua, G4S or Tyco have already confirmed they will take part.

There are also a range of specialist pavilion’s lined up for 2015, including the Techtextil Pavilion. After a great start in 2014 the Techtextil Pavilion will double its size, showcasing technical textiles in all market segments with a focus on safety and protective wear. Intersec Founding Partner NAFFCO has also booked the entire Hall 3 for next year’s show, making it the largest ever company stand in Intersec’s 17 year history.

Intersec proved it’s standing as a show for international businesses in 2014, and it can and will be even bigger and better in 2015. This is the one not-to-miss event global event.
