To add further weight to the Midwich Security ethos of IT/AV and security convergence, the specialist security division of Midwich has appointed Ian Cox as area sales manager.
Joining Mat Hewitt, Cox brings a wealth of IT technical expertise and customer relationships to Midwich Security having spent 20 years in the industry, most recently with Norbain.
Cox said: “With Norbain, I drove the new market development process of selling IP base video and access control products into the new IT channels market. Today’s security products are designed to work in harmony with today’s AV and IT projects, and I’m very much looking forward to introducing customers to potential new areas.
