Omny, the cybersecurity company protecting critical infrastructure across Operational Technology (OT), IT and physical systems, has appointed industry-veteran Thomas Fetten as CEO to spearhead its international expansion. Fetten brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience in technology, cybersecurity, and managed services, including senior executive roles at Deutsche Telekom Security, Secure Link/Orange Cyber Defense, and IBM.
The OT market is expected to reach $50bn by 2029 driven by escalating cyber threats and growing regulatory pressure. Recent cyberattacks on European airports and energy grids have underscored the severe consequences of operational downtime when security defences fail. Against this backdrop, Omny is uniquely positioned to help critical infrastructure operators manage risks and ensure resilience.
