SAFR SCAN announces new features

RealNetworks, Inc. is showcasing SAFR SCAN, the company’s recently introduced facial recognition reader designed for mainstream commercial access control, workforce management and health safety applications, at GSX 2022 on booth 3725.

Since its introduction in Q1 of 2022, SAFR SCAN has continued to evolve, with added features further contributing to the cost-effective solution’s broad market appeal.

Additionally, SAFR SCAN has caught the attention of leading technology companies, resulting in new integrations and partnerships with AMAG Technology, Genetec, ACRE/Feenics, Johnson Controls/Software House and PCSC.

SAFR SCAN has also joined the Physical Security Interoperability Alliance (PSIA) and will be part of the PSIA Experience at GSX on September 13.

SAFR SCAN provides a fast, frictionless access control experience, authenticating up to 30 individuals per minute and employing the latest advancements in secure facial recognition technology. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor environments with changing lighting conditions, SAFR SCAN also functions as a three-in-one device for access control, video surveillance and video intercom capabilities at the door.

Since its initial introduction, SAFR SCAN continues to evolve with new features and capabilities, including a powerful feature to help detect and prevent tailgating.
