Securi-Guard Agrees Sponsorship Deal With Plymouth Argyle

Securi-Guard has strengthened its support for the city’s sporting scene after agreeing a sponsorship deal with Plymouth Argyle Football Club.

The South West’s largest independent fire and security specialist has joined the League Two club’s ‘Pilgrim Partnership’ sponsorship package, which will run for the coming 2014/15 season.

Securi-Guard already provides fire and intruder alarm maintenance and monitoring services to the club, as well as CCTV at Argyle’s ground Home Park.

The company also has an established sporting pedigree in the city, providing sponsorship and fire and security services for local rugby club Plymouth Albion. It has just renewed its sponsorship deal with the club for the coming season too.

Scott Boyd, Managing Director of Securi-Guard Fire and Security, said the sponsorship deal represented an ideal opportunity to further promote the company and show its support for the city’s professional football team.

“Plymouth Argyle has made its sponsorship packages very attractive and I am delighted we will be part of what I hope will be a very successful season for the club, both on and off the field,” said Scott.

“It does present a great opportunity to promote our extensive range of fire and security solutions to a wider audience and take advantage of corporate hospitality for our clients.”

As part of the sponsorship agreement, Securi-Guard will be match day sponsors for the home tie against AFC Wimbledon on April 14 next year when representatives of the company will be invited to a champagne reception, tour of the ground and pre-match meal. The package also includes the chance to welcome the teams onto the pitch and present the Man of the Match Award after the game.

Securi-Guard will also be match ball sponsors for the home tie on December 28 against Oxford and the official match programme sponsors for February 14 clash against Cambridge.
