Securi-Guard Fire and Security has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of experienced security professional Robert Truesdale to the role of Fire and Security Systems Manager.
Plymouth-born Bob – who has worked in the security business for the past 22 years – will oversee both the technical side, in terms of the installation and maintenance teams, as well as sales activities, in the fire and security division of the company.
He will also be responsible for client liaison, ensuring customer expectations are met at all times, as well as monitoring the latest technological developments in the security industry for the Plymouth-based company.
“Coming from Plymouth I was already aware of Securi-Guard’s reputation, both on a regional and national basis, and I am delighted to be part of a business which has been, and continues to be, a real success story in the industry, ” said Bob.

Bob started out in the security industry as an Alarm Service Engineer. Since then he has acquired extensive experience at senior level having worked in both operational and sales management, as well as in customer support.
He also has a wide knowledge of electronic fire and security systems and considerable project management expertise too.
Away from work, Bob enjoys cooking, keeping up with technology and is an avid rugby watcher. He also has a professional scuba diving qualification.
