Five employees with Plymouth-based Securi-Guard are celebrating a combined 105 years of loyal service with the company.
Dave Campbell, Operations Manager –Security Guarding Services, led the long service awards as he marked 25 years with the South West’s largest independent supplier of fire and security solutions.
He was joined by Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) Operator Pete Chapman and Security Officers Rob Sanders, Steve Tozer and Jim McNeil who have each been with Securi-Guard 20 years.
Scott Boyd and Kim Precious, Managing Directors of Securi-Guard Fire and Security and Securi-Guard Monitoring respectively presented each of the employees with a gift to mark the occasion.
As Operations Manager, David oversees the day to day running of the company’s wide range of ‘manned’ security services, which includes manned guarding, mobile patrols, keyholding and Securi-Guard’s iwitness portable CCTV/alarm system. Rob Sanders, Steve Tozer and Jim McNeil are all part of his team.
Another key element of David’s role is to maintain regular contact with clients to ensure all the services under his remit are being delivered effectively and professionally.
Meanwhile, Pete Chapman is part of the team of operators in the ARC who use the very latest technologies to monitor fire and intruder alarms, CCTV, vehicles and lone workers.
“I have been very fortunate to have worked with some amazing people over the past 25 years and have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Securi-Guard,” said David Campbell.
“I particularly enjoy the variety of my job, but it is a job I would be unable to do without the support and dedication of my team and I cannot thank them enough for the work they do.”
Scott Boyd, Managing Director of Securi-Guard Fire and Security was full of praise for the achievements of each of the five employees.
“To dedicate more than 20 years of your life to the same company is rare, but it is testament to the staff loyalty I am delighted to say we inspire here at Securi-Guard,” said Scott.
Kim Precious, Managing Director Securi-Guard Monitoring, added: “Securi-Guard is very much a family business and we see each member of staff as an extension of that family. In an industry that traditionally has a high turnover of staff it is incredibly pleasing to see so many employees are happy to stay with us.”
