Servest Group has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2013 Security Excellence Awards in the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative category.

Now in their fifteenth year, the Security Excellence Awards are considered to be the industry Oscars, highlighting the best people, projects and processes the UK ’s security sector has to offer.

The Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative award is presented to an organisation that has clearly defined, embraced, initiated, actively promoted and sustained a CSR strategy in 2012-2013. Servest has been shortlisted for its environmental, community and people initiatives. These included introducing eco-friendly patrol vehicles which reduced carbon emissions by 43 per cent; recruiting locally to reduce officer travel time; reducing paper consumption by 76 per cent through digital client and personnel filing; developing working relationships with several Back to Work partners and local charities; insisting on paying London Living Wage as a minimum; and investing in bespoke training plans and apprenticeships.
