Success for Certes Networks at IP EXPO 2015
Certes Networks, a leading innovator in software-defined security solutions to protect enterprise applications, has declared this year’s IP EXPO in London a success. With just under 15,000 delegates in attendance over the two-day event, the Certes Networks stand was constantly alive with both end-users and channel decision makers eager to find out more about Certes’ latest additions to its CryptoFlow suite of products.
Exhibiting in the Exclusive Networks zone, with which Certes Networks announced its partnership earlier this month, Certes found the IP EXPO a great opportunity to demonstrate both CryptoFlow SafeCloud and CryptoFlow SD-WAN. Both solutions are built on the breakthrough CryptoFlow Software-Defined Security platform: CryptoFlow skyBridge, which is a cloud-based service from Certes that manages application security from a single point of control, end-to-end over any network or silo, with no impact or change to networks and applications.
In addition, Certes VP EMEA, Paul German, hosted a seminar session in the Exclusive Networks Cyber Attack, Remediation & Mitigation Theatre in which he discussed crypto-segmentation and the changes that have been seen in the security industry over the last few years.
Reflecting on the IP EXPO, Paul comments:
“The event was a great chance to demonstrate our new solutions and talk to delegates, all of whom were extremely interested in crypto-segmentation and how the concept has advanced the security industry. The time it takes to detect a threat is currently 200 days, which is clearly far too long. A key take-away from the IP EXPO is that the industry is finally starting to take note of this and get into the new mind-set of threat containment and software-defined security, which are issues that the new Certes solutions can successfully address.”
