Top 10 pick BriefCam VS Enterprise provides affordable Video Synopsis for rapid video review to all levels of investigation: on-the-spot, on-demand and post-event
ASIS International, the preeminent organization for security professionals worldwide, has selected BriefCam, the developer and provider of Video Synopsis solutions for rapid reviewing, analyzing and indexing of video, as one of the top 10 winners of the ASIS Accolades Security’s Best competition.
ASIS Accolades is an awards competition that recognizes the security industry’s most innovative new products, services, and/or solutions. A team of judges representing end users and experts in security technologies evaluated more than 70 entries before selecting BriefCam as one of the top 10 winners.
All BriefCam products are based on Video Synopsis, a novel technology that enables users to browse hours of video in minutes. The synopsis is made possible by simultaneously presenting multiple objects and activities that have occurred at different times. Events are indexed to the original source video, and both synopsis and original footage can be exported for investigation with a single mouse click.
The judges selected the new BriefCam VS Enterprise product, which enables 100% camera coverage, supporting BriefCam Live channels with instantaneous Video Synopsis availability for critical or frequently reviewed cameras and BriefCam On-Demand for affordable batch processing.
“We’re honored that ASIS has chosen to award BriefCam VS Enterprise, which answers a need for total coverage expressed by customers over the past year,” said Dror Irani, CEO of BriefCam. “BriefCam Live meets the needs of on-site security personnel, who must react quickly to events. BriefCam On-Demand is tailored to investigators who review video after the fact and in depth. With BriefCam VS Enterprise, we’re now able to serve all levels of investigation within the multi-camera environment.” Irani added that another BriefCam product, VS Forensics, provides standalone Video Synopsis for post-event investigation.
The winners will be recognized at the ASIS International 57th Annual Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS 2011), the security industry’s leading event, September 19-21 at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida.
Accolades entrants have been invited to display their entries in a special area on the Exhibits floor (Booth #2381, Hall B) and winners will be highlighted, along with other new products during the Seminar’s “What’s New on the Floor” session, on Monday, Sept. 19 at 1:45 p.m. in Room W315 AB of the Orange County Convention Center.
At ASIS 2011, BriefCam will be exhibiting at Booths #1334 and 1325.
