Videonetics announced today that it has become a Full Member of ONVIF®, the open industry forum that provides and promotes standardised interfaces for effective interoperability of IP-based physical security products

A member of ONVIF since November 2013, Videonetics has been a firm believer in open standards, and their products are developed on an open platform for easy integration with a wide range of manufacturers, thereby giving users the flexibility to leverage their existing resources and investments.
As a Full Member, Videonetics can actively influence the development of the standard by participating in the work of the forum, including participation as an ONVIF Steering Committee member, participation in ONVIF working groups, early access to specifications, the ability to declare conformant products, use of committee voting privileges, access to specification drafts and more.
