In contrast, IP-based solutions like DoorBird open up entirely new possibilities: remote access control, visitor communication, motion detection, video recording, cloud services, and seamless integration with smart home and building automation systems such as KNX, Crestron, and Control4.
The DoorBird app is continuously updated, not only meeting but intentionally exceeding current legal data protection and cybersecurity standards. Regular updates and new features ensure the system remains technologically up to date and adapts to evolving user needs.
Certified Security
DoorBird meets the highest international standards of security and compliance. Certification to ISO/IEC 27001:2024 by TÜV Saarland confirms the effectiveness of its information security management system, covering all aspects from product development and production to support.
In addition, the devices comply with the UL 62368-1:2019 standard, confirming their electrical safety, fire resistance, and mechanical reliability for the North American market. These certifications highlight DoorBird’s commitment to quality and global market readiness.
Production – Made in Germany
All DoorBird products are developed and manufactured at the company’s Berlin facility. Around 40 skilled technicians work in-house to assemble, test, and prepare each device for global deployment with meticulous attention to detail.
Sustainability plays a central role in the manufacturing process. Wherever possible, recycled materials are used. Efficient production workflows and short supply chains help significantly reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions without compromising product quality or durability.
