The fifth edition of the World Police Summit will be held from 23 to 25 June 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the event is organised by Dubai Police in partnership with DXB LIVE and will take place under the theme Connected for Impact: Uniting Global Policing to Safeguard Future Generations.
The Summit will attract senior international participation, bringing together global experts, law enforcement bodies and leading international organisations. These include INTERPOL, Europol and the United Nations, reinforcing the Summit’s position as a major global forum for policing and security collaboration.
Colonel Dr Rashid Hamdan Al Ghafri, Secretary-General of the World Police Summit and Deputy Director of the General Department of Forensic Science and Criminology for Administrative Affairs at Dubai Police, said the event has developed into a key international platform for strengthening cooperation and sharing knowledge and expertise among police forces worldwide. He noted that the Summit provides an important opportunity to explore the future of global security while highlighting best practice and innovative solutions to the rapidly evolving challenges of transnational crime.
He said: “The Summit represents a unique opportunity to showcase successful global policing models and best practices, as well as to build strategic partnerships that enhance the capabilities and preparedness of police agencies to address future challenges. The fifth edition will explore new themes and topics that reflect Dubai Police’s pioneering and proactive role in leveraging advanced technologies and artificial intelligence systems to enhance security.
“It will also address the latest trends in combating digital crime, crisis management, and community protection. The Summit and its accompanying exhibition will offer a comprehensive platform bringing together top experts, decision-makers, and leading international companies to showcase their latest policing innovations—further reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global center for police knowledge and security development.”

The World Police Summit aims to further strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for security innovation and policing expertise by bringing together security leaders, decision-makers and specialists from around the world. The event offers valuable opportunities to develop long-term strategic partnerships to help address the increasing and complex security challenges faced internationally.
The fourth edition of the Summit, also organised by Dubai Police in partnership with DXB LIVE, saw record levels of participation. It hosted 922 senior police leaders, specialists, diplomats and representatives of international organisations, welcoming 53,922 participants from more than 110 countries. This represented growth of more than 300 per cent compared with the previous edition. Attendees included six Ministers of the Interior, four Deputy Ministers, 45 Police Chiefs, 41 Deputy Police Chiefs and 692 ambassadors, consuls and senior diplomats.
The event featured 140 specialist panel sessions, with 302 international speakers discussing key security issues across 12 thematic areas. It also saw the signing of 38 memoranda of understanding between security agencies, technology providers and academic institutions, aimed at strengthening collaboration and integration. In addition, 900 participants took part in the Summit’s awards programme, with 12 winners recognised across 12 categories.
