March Networks, is proud to mark its 25th anniversary by unveiling an expanded portfolio of AI-driven solutions at GSX 2025. Headlining the launch is the AI3 Counting Camera, a compact, all-in-one edge device that delivers both 360° video surveillance and real-time business intelligence analytics through seamless integration with Searchlight Cloud.

Built for high-traffic environments such as retail, QSRs, transit, and banking, the AI3 Camera combines edge-based people counting, demographic segmentation, queue and dwell analysis—all in a single device.

“This is more than a counter or sensor,” said Peter Strom, President and CEO of March Networks. “The AI3 offers complete situational awareness, powerful analytics, and cost savings—removing the need to install separate counting sensors and overhead cameras.”

Smart Video, Smarter Data
Paired with March Networks Searchlight Cloud, the AI3 transforms raw foot traffic into actionable intelligence—displaying visual dashboards, alerts, and historical trends to help customers optimize operations, staffing, and sales — all backed by video clips for context.

Key AI3 features include:

  • 360° video with AI analytics in one device
  • Real-time queue, occupancy, and dwell-time alerts
  • Customer demographic analysis and employee exclusion tags
  • Accurate conversion tracking via POS integration
  • Multi-site dashboards to compare traffic and performance enterprise-wide
  • Easy installation with PoE and Searchlight Cloud integration

“What makes the AI3 stand out is how it helps our customers connect the dots between what’s happening on the ground and what it actually means for their business,” said Jeff Corrall, Chief Product Officer at March Networks. “It’s built for busy places—whether it’s the holiday shopping rush or a packed transit terminal—and gives marketing, operations, and security teams the insights and protection they need, all from a single 360° camera.”

AI Smart Search: Speed Meets Precision
Alongside the launch of the AI3, March Networks is also spotlighting key upgrades to its award-winning video investigation tool, AI Smart Search. Unlike most AI search tools—which rely on traditional attribute filters like “blue shirt” or “backpack”—AI Smart Search uses natural language and visual confirmation to quickly pinpoint what really matters. The system uses generative AI to scan video snapshots from all cameras and all locations, showing only high-confidence results that match the user’s search, reducing false alerts and saving time.

The latest enhancements include faster processing speeds, scalable architecture for long-term storage, and smart notifications—so users can save frequent searches and get automatic alerts when new results appear. The combination of flexibility, intelligence, and accuracy sets AI Smart Search apart as the next generation of AI-driven video investigation.

“AI Smart Search dramatically reduces investigation times,” said Corrall. “It’s one of our most powerful tools for security teams and operators looking to protect assets and improve efficiencies.”
