Control room furniture manufacturer Winsted Europe & Middle East will be returning to Intersec in January 2012, exhibiting its new range of Slat-Wall consoles for the first time in the region.

Winsted will also be bringing its award-winning Sight-Line consoles to the Dubai show, along with the company’s M-View monitor wall. All of this equipment will be demonstrated on stand no. 4-430C during the three-day event. (Intersec, 15-17  January 2012, Dubai)

Winsted’s new range of Slat-Wall consoles are based on its popular and award-winning Sight-Line consoles, providing added versatility by featuring a 15-inch tall slat wall for mounting a variety of flat-screen monitors and other accessories. The new Slat-Wall consoles are modular, configurable and expandable to meet the changing needs of control rooms over their operating lifetime.

They also take flexibility to a new level. With several monitor mounts to choose from, there are numerous ways to configure and adjust display monitors. Slat-Wall panels can also be used to add an element of privacy to each operator’s personal workspace. The slat-wall itself is constructed using high quality extruded 6105-T5 aluminium with a black anodized finish that is attractive and smooth to the touch.

Terry Shough, Winsted EMEA’s general manager, hails the Slat-Wall range as an important and complementary addition to the company’s line-up of control room furniture: “Slat Wall units take all the existing features that Middle East customers have enjoyed about our Sight-Line consoles and add extra versatility. For instance, you can eliminate clutter and add space with a selection of Slat-Wall accessories that are designed to help control room operators keep themselves organised.”

Winsted will also be demonstrating its Sight-Line consoles and M-View monitor wall at Intersec 2012. Sight-Line consoles are now supplied with an integrated Versa-Trak monitor mounting system, which offers versatility in terms of adjustment to modify sight lines and viewing angles based on personal needs.

Meanwhile, the M-View monitor wall is fabricated from lightweight, high strength extruded aluminium with a black anodised finish. It can support any size LCD and/or plasma screen and be configured as an in-line, concave, or convex mounting solution. M-View seamlessly integrates technology and space to optimise viewing angles, improve operator comfort, and increase productivity.
