CCTV integration specialists Building Block Video (BBV) announces the appointment of Andi Gillett as a Director of the Company with immediate effect.
During his illness, the late Mike Gillett himself took a very active role in planning for the future of BBV, together with his partner and co-director Alan Forster and his wife Andi Gillett. Strategies had been agreed and plans had already been set in place for the future.
Involved in the background from BBV’s inception in the early 1990s, Andi – formerly Andrea Clayton-Jones, founding director of Dedicated Micros – now, together with Alan, takes an active role in the day to day management as well as spearheading marketing initiatives moving forward. Andi and Alan know each other very well and they are confident of their ability to work together to implement Mike’s vision for the future of BBV.
BBV has a number of new products in the latter stages of development, several of which will be launched this Spring. These will strengthen the company’s offering in the digital, IP Video sector of the market. BBV continues to do well in the traditional analogue market, having recently developed a new receiver that is selling successfully in Europe.
BBV’s focus on nurturing long term strategic partnerships has created many mutually beneficial relationships. BBV welcomes discussions with existing and new strategic partners to develop specific projects through to completion.
