Chubb to supply 31 Land Registry sites across the UK

Chubb Fire & Security UK, a leading provider of electronic security and fire safety solutions for business and industry, has been chosen as ‘the supplier of choice’ for all fire and security maintenance across the nationwide premises of Her Majesty’s Land Registry. Chubb is part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.

Chubb UK is servicing and maintaining closed circuit television (CCTV), intruder and access control systems, fire alarms, fire extinguishers and fire mechanical systems, including sprinklers and gas suppression systems, at 31 Land Registry sites around the country. The contract was put out to tender by the facilities management company, Carillion, on behalf of Land Registry, and Chubb secured the contract based on its proven track record.

Furthermore, with a nationwide team of more than 250 qualified fire extinguisher service engineers, Chubb has the ability to service and maintain all types and makes of extinguishers, in addition to providing a team of trained service engineers with a wealth of experience in the service and maintenance of fixed fire suppression systems.

Her Majesty’s Land Registry is an executive agency of the Government that has been registering title to land in England and Wales for 150 years. It has offices in Birkenhead, Coventry, Durham, Fylde, Gloucester, Kingston-upon-Hull, Leicester, Nottingham, Peterborough, Plymouth, Swansea, Telford and Weymouth, and its head offices are based in Croydon.
