DXC Technology has announced a major expansion of its SAP capabilities across the Middle East and Africa, unveiling plans for a new SAP Academy in Saudi Arabia and a Centre of Excellence in Egypt.
The company will also add more than 300 SAP specialists across the region as part of a significant growth programme.
The SAP Academy in Saudi Arabia will train and certify local talent, aligning with national ambitions for digital advancement.
Its launch coincides with the opening of DXC’s new Egyptian Centre of Excellence, which serves as a regional delivery hub supporting public and commercial sectors in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The centre uses AI, reusable assets and contemporary implementation methods to enhance SAP support and deliver mission-critical managed services.
As part of one of its largest regional recruitment drives, DXC is hiring 250 SAP experts in Egypt, positioning the country as a strategic hub. South Africa is expected to become another key delivery centre, already serving more than 50 enterprises. A further 50 roles are planned in the country over the next two years as DXC grows its Enterprise Technology Practices.
Keith Costello, President of Enterprise Applications and Technology, DXC Consulting and Engineering Services, said: “Expanding our SAP capabilities across the Middle East and Africa reinforces DXC’s commitment to helping customers modernise their technology landscapes and unlock greater value from their SAP investments.
“By combining our global SAP expertise with strong regional delivery, we’re enabling organisations to simplify complexity, accelerate transformation, and build a foundation for sustained growth.”
