FireWatch offers a suite of services to clients under its licenses in the states of California, Arizona, Nevada, and Washington state.

FireWatch’s private security agency connections provide access to highly trained, fully certified security guards from the military and law enforcement communities. No matter the environment – from a city-wide special event or a commercial setting with broader needs – guards can serve as short-term security or provide ongoing protection. Among FireWatch’s commercial services are uniformed officers, patrolling services, video surveillance, 24-hour monitoring, and risk assessments.
A key differentiator for FireWatch is its operations centre which serves as a watch desk connected to all security guards. The centre facilitates communications and reporting with guards and is connected to a broad range of outside security agencies including fire, police, and other law enforcement and security entities. The value-added operations centre fosters greater communications, increases service capability, and is a morale booster for guards who view themselves as part of team even on the most traditional one-man assignments.
Another differentiator for FireWatch is the high level of training afforded all its security team. Training goes beyond the basic standards, according to von Kraus. Security guards meet all state certification requirements for security skills and knowledge including firearms. The FireWatch security guard team includes military veterans and current and former law enforcement personnel.
FireWatch plans to expand its Operations Center to include backup monitoring services for personal and business security alarms. The company is also looking to start up operations in Texas and Oklahoma in the near future.
FireWatch Solutions Inc., founded in 2016 by von Kraus, provides tailored security services to support each client’s unique requirements. Initially focused on supporting non-government organisations (NGOs) working in high-risk locations overseas, the company has expanded domestically to provide traditional security services to include executive protection, event security, estate security, and other guard services. The company is currently operating in California, Arizona, Washington, and Texas, with planned expansion to Nevada in Q3 2023.
