‘Technical Support Clinic’ to Offer Advice on IP, Integration and Other Industry Topics.

Honeywell today announced its participation at the IFSEC 2012 European security trade show taking place at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, UK, from 14th to 17th May 2012 – Stand E80 in Hall 4.

A core focus of Honeywell’s presence at the show is its technical experts being readily available to provide advice and support to customers and partners. This guidance is designed to help installers and end user companies in their efforts to understand some of the industry’s complex areas including IP migration, integration, convergence and standards.

For any organization the decision to migrate to IP is a big one, particularly in a challenging business climate. Honeywell’s experienced technicians will provide customers and installers with insights into the range of options available – including hybrid systems – to ensure companies are investing in cost effective systems that are future proof and can scale with their needs.

Another key area where Honeywell will support IFSEC participants is in gaining a better understanding of leveraging integrated solutions such as building management systems (BMS) and physical security information management (PSIM) to bring together disparate solutions and bridge the gap between security and IT. Educating customers about the difference between integration and interoperability, and the respective benefits is also an important theme the company will address.

“IFSEC is an unparalleled opportunity for Honeywell to share ideas and guidance with our valued customers and partners. We are excited that the Honeywell support team will join us onsite to offer deep insights, technical support and advice on all aspects of the industry,” comments Jeremy Kimber, Commercial Operational Marketing Leader, EMEA

Honeywell will also take the opportunity to demonstrate its broad spectrum of security solutions including its managed services offering for smaller commercial markets such as retail, healthcare and home office. More information about the latest innovation Honeywell will showcase at IFSEC 2012 will be announced in April.
